Hans Leser (Berlin)
is a lighting designer, lighting technician, showman, and electronics tinkerer.
He was born in 1975 in Bremen. During his studies in physics, he became interested in the visual and technical aspects of lighting (club, concert, and event lighting).
After completing his studies in 2002, he did an internship in the lighting department of the Theater am Halleschen Ufer, Berlin. In addition to working as a freelance lighting technician in the theater and event sector, he has been working as a lighting designer for various theater productions since 2006 at:

- Ballhaus Naunynstraße (Berlin)
- Theater am Neumarkt (Zurich)
- Theaterdiscounter (Berlin)
- Volkstheater Vienna
- Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin
Since 2013, he has been regularly inventing kinetic mirror machines, which are exhibited in solo shows, at conferences, light festivals, and music events.
In theater, he has worked with directors such as Patrick Wengenroth, Barbara Weber, Bruce LaBruce, Nurkan Erpulat, Hakan Savaş Mican, Christiane Rösinger, and the groups Die Skills, CHEAP, and Rimini Protokoll.
